Event Location: A Football Field Near You Event Date: 10/30/2009 The Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) recently released the RFP for the 2009 NFL Grassroots Program grant cycle. The grant program provides funding for urban communities (in the NFL's 31 markets) to revitalize and build football fields. It also creates safe places for athletic activities and encourages increased physical activity. The attached Program Description provides detailed information.
